Will my credit expire?​
On a Prepay Plus plan you need to top up once a month to renew your Prepay Plus plan and continue to receive service. If you do not top up once every 360 days your connection will no longer be active and remaining credit and your number will be lost.

What is the minimum top up amount?
The minimum top up amount is $10 through My One NZ on this website or using the mobile app. ​

One NZ’s Prepay Starter, Rollover, Endless and Unlimited plans last for a calendar month. Your plan will start from the day you activate, buy a plan or change to a new plan. If you have enough credit, your plan will automatically renew overnight at midnight on the same date each month, in line with the calendar month. (e.g. For example, if you buy a plan on 1 Jan at 14:00, your Plan will renew on 1 Feb at 00:01, and then again on 1 March at 00:01).

Yes, 5G works with Prepay. To get the benefits of 5G, you’ll need a 5G capable phone from One NZ, or from selected retailers. You’ll need to be in a 5G coverage area (5G is live in parts of select towns and cities right across New Zealand), and be on an eligible Prepay plan. Our current 4G plans are all eligible for 5G.

If you have an eligible prepay plan and a 5G phone from One NZ or selected retailers, you can use 5G at no extra cost.

Choose from a great range of Add-Ons for Prepay to keep you connected. Access any of these ‘Add-Ons by pressing ‘Buy more’ in the My One NZ app.

If you have used all of your included data, mins or TXTs with your Prepay Plus plan you will not be able to make calls, send TXTS or use data; you must purchase an Add-On, Daily Deal or renew your Plan to be able to make standard domestic calls (including calls to voicemail), TXTs, MMS or to use data.

On Prepay Plus you can rollover any unused data when your Prepay Plus plan renews. There is no cap to the rollover data you can rollover but you have one year to use it before it expires.

If you change plan from a Prepay Plus Rollover plan to Starter, Endless or Unlimited you will lose your rollover data. You must have an active Prepay Plus Rollover plan to rollover unused data you have accumulated.

If you change from a Prepay Plus Rollover Plan to any of our other Prepay Plus Rollover plans or when moving from MyFlex to Prepay Plus Rollover you will keep your DataUp %.

If you cancel your Prepay Plus Rollover Plan, you will lose any rollover data and DataUp bonuses that you have accumulated.

If you're running low on credit and can't Top Up right away, get an instant $5 credit with Prepay IOU.
Next time you Top Up, you'll repay the $5 plus a $0.50 fee.

Simply TXT IOU to 468 and we'll apply a $5 credit straight away! IOU is so helpful when you need it.

Important things to know about IOU:

• You must have less than $14 credit to use IOU.
• You can only have one outstanding IOU at a time - you need to repay your outstanding IOU before you can request another one.
• IOU is not available while roaming.
• You can't move to another Prepay plan or Pay Monthly plan while you have an unpaid IOU.

No NZ casual rates/No surprise data costs: If you have used your plan allowance you will need to purchase an Add-on, Daily Deal or renew your plan to keep calling, sending TXTs or use data.

^DataUp: Collect a DataUp bonus with each consecutive renewal or repurchase of your active Prepay Plus Rollover plan each month, to a max of 100% of active plan data. Endless data: Speeds reduced to a maximum of 1.2Mbps after Max Speed Data allowance exceeded. Fair use & terms apply, see one.nz/prepay.

Daily Deals: Purchase up to three Daily Deals a day. Purchased deals expire at 23:59 at the end of the period stated in the relevant Daily Deal offer, and will be used based on the earliest expiry. Terms apply, see one.nz/dailydeals.

*One NZ Satellite: TXT/MMS in minutes on eligible phones and plans. Needs line of sight to sky. Standard MMS charges apply. Terms, fair use and capacity control applies. To send a TXT/MMS via One NZ Satellite, Prepay customers must have an active Prepay plan, which means they need to have either TXT/MMS entitlements left on their plan or sufficient credit. If you have no TXT/MMS entitlements or credit left, you won't be able to send a TXT/MMS via One NZ Satellite.

+International add-on: Included on Prepay Endless Plus and Prepay Plus Endless Unlimited. Add-On available to buy for $10 p/m on all other Prepay Plus plans.
