What do I do next?
It can take around 4 business hours to complete the number transfer (sorry – we are unable to process these requests in the weekend). In the meantime, keep your ‘old’ (non One NZ) SIM in your phone and keep using it until you can no longer make or receive calls / txts - this means your number is now with One NZ.
When you’re all set up, make sure you jump into My One NZ and check out the details of your new plan.
If your old SIM is still working after 4 hours call us on 777 and we’ll get it sorted.
While you’re waiting
Get ahead of the game and download the My One NZ App while we are transferring your number. It’s super simple to set up and is the best way to keep track of your usage, top up and get access to your Prepay Deals. This is where you can also change to another plan or design your My Flex plan each month.
TXT ‘MY VF’ to 790 to receive a link to download or grab it from your app store.
Important: after submitting ensure you...
- have the previous SIM in your phone
- reply YES to the TXT from 2542 (If you do not reply within 2 hours of submitting, we will cancel your request)
This can take 2 - 24 hours to complete. If submitted outside 8am - 5pm, Mon - Fri, processing will occur the next working day.
