We remain absolutely focused on keeping you connected, giving you great value and continuously improving the service you receive, which sometimes means our mobile plans can change.

In October/November we’re moving you to either a MyFlex or Pay & Go Prepay plan as we are no longer offering your current plan.

When we move you to MyFlex you’ll get double your current minutes and data and your plan will renew every 28 days instead of 30 days.

Once you’ve been moved to MyFlex you have the flexibility to redesign your data, mins and TXTs at any time for the following month.

Are the same Data Add-Ons still available for purchase on Pay & Go?

Yes we have recurring $20, $30, $50 and $80 Add-Ons available on Pay & Go. With Pay & Go you also get access to casual usage for calling, TXT and Data. Making a call will cost 49c per min, TXTs cost 20c each and casual rates of 50c per MB will apply when you have used all your Data Add-On.

I don’t currently have a Data Add-On – what will happen when I move to Pay & Go?

When we move you to Pay & Go as a one off, we are adding a free 500 MB Add-On to your Prepay account when we move you (lasts 28 days). Once you’ve used this you’ll need to purchase a recurring Data Add-On or any credit balance you have will be used at casual rates of 50c per MB.

What if I don’t want to have the ability to use casual data rates?

All our Prepay Plans now have causal data usage, at 50c per MB. You may want to consider moving to a Pay Monthly plan.

What if I’ve just purchased a BBLite Add-On?

If you’ve just purchased a BBLite Add-On we’ll give you a one-off bonus of 250MB (lasts 28 days) when we move you.

What if I’ve just purchased a 2GB Data Boost?

If you’ve just purchased a 2GB Data Boost we’ll give you a one-off bonus of 2GB (lasts 28 days) when we move you.

If you have a bonus Supa Prepay Add-On when you move to Pay & Go, we’ll give you 100 mins for the first 28 days.

If you have an active Supa Prepay Add-On when we move you to Pay & Go, we’re giving you a similar one-off Add-On that lasts 28 days. Once you’ve been moved Supa Prepay Add-Ons will no longer be available. Why is my Prepay plan no longer available?

I don’t want to move to the Prepay plan you’ve recommended for me, what are my other options?

We have a great range of Pay Monthly plan options, otherwise if you’re keen to stay on a Prepay plan, and you’re being moved to MyFlex, we also have Pay & Go options.

If you’re being moved to Pay & Go and you’re topping up and spending $14 or more every month a MyFlex plan may suit you better.

If you wish to move to another provider or to a Pay Monthly plan, all entitlements, Prepay credit balances and bonuses will be lost.

What will happen when I’m moved to my new plan?

You will experience a short outage overnight from 11.30pm to 7am. During this time you won’t be able to make any changes to your account, buy a plan or Add-On, or top up. You’ll still be able to make calls, send TXTs, use your data and Auto Top Ups will apply if you’ve got one set up. We will send you a reminder TXT a few days before we move you.

What date will I be moving to my new plan?

We will send you a TXT a few days before we move you confirming the date of your move and all the important information you need to know. No moves will happen on plan renewal dates.

How do I manage the MyFlex plan?

Sign in to the My One NZ app or website to flex your plan. With MyFlex Prepay you can design your own plan or select from one of our Popular Combos - Flexible Prepay plans - that you design, from One NZ.

What is happening to my BestMate?

We now offer better pricing for larger amounts or unlimited mins in our MyFlex plan options. If you paid separately for BestMate, you will have already received a TXT letting you know this product is ending on 10 August. On the this date BestMate will be removed from your account and you’ll no longer be charged for this. If you currently pay for BestMate as part of your Smart19 & NZBM Add-On, your BestMate will continue to work and be charged for until you move to your new MyFlex plan. You’ll get unlimited minutes in the recommended MyFlex plan that we are moving you to.

What is the difference between my current Prepay plan and the Prepay plan you’re moving me to?

What is the My One NZ app and how do I use this?

Use the My One NZ app to track your usage, Top Up your Prepay account, redeem Rewards, and claim Prepay Daily Deals. You can use the My One NZ mobile app or sign into the web portal.

How do I purchase a Daily Deal?

What is casual Data?

All our Prepay Plans now have casual data usage, at 50c per MB. Once you’ve used all your Plan or Add-On data any credit balance you have will be used at casual rates of 50c per MB.

What is Prepay Carry Over?

Prepay Carry Over is available on our MyFlex plan and ensures any unused minutes and data don't go to waste. On MyFlex you can carry over up to 500 unused minutes and up to 3.5GB of unused data when your plan renews (TXTs do not carry over). Find out more about Prepay Carry Over.
