Who is eligible for this offer?
Any full-time employee, who is employed by a business that is approved to be part of this programme.
Employees must sign up using their work email address, and have billing directed to their work email address. Offer only available online.
How can I redeem this offer?
This offer can only be redeemed by signing up online. Not available to purchase instore or over the phone.
Why do I have to use my work email address to sign up and for billing?
Your work email address will be how we validate you are still employed by a business eligible for this deal.
If we see that billing emails are bouncing this will then signal to us that you are no longer employed by an eligible business, and we will start the process to remove the discount.
If you are still an eligible employee and there is a system error, you will need to let us know so we can continue to provide your discount.
I don’t have a work email address. Can I take up this offer?
Unfortunately, this can only be offered to employees with a valid business email address.
What happens if I have a IFP and want to cancel my plan or end my interest-free term early?
In both scenarios, you will need to pay back the remaining balance of your mobile phone. The amount to be paid back would exclude any Interest-Free discount that you otherwise would have been entitled to if you remained for the full interest free term.
How will I be billed?
You will be sent a bill each month via email. You can find out more about bills and payments here.
What if my employer is no longer eligible once I have the discount?
If your employer is no longer eligible, then the plan discount will be removed. You will get at least 30 days notice for when the discount will be remove, and we can help you choose a new plan if required.
How do I lose eligibility?
The following will be how you would lose eligibility.

Business is no longer eligible for the offer.
What happens when I lose eligibility?
You will get at least 30 days notice that your discount will be removed and you will then pay full price for One Plan™. If you wish to look at another plan, we can help you choose from our latest line up.
How can I add a Companion?
You can add up to three people to your One Plan, and each Companion will get the same plan for $42 each per month with a One Plan™ Primary plan. You can find out more here or talk to the team when you are signing up to find out more.
Can I take the offer on other plans?
No, this is only available on One Plan™.
Can I sign my partner up on the lead plan?
No, only employees from eligible businesses can sign up on the lead plan, and they can add up to three companions.
Why am I receiving a Certificate of Ownership (CoO) error message?
This error usually occurs when the mobile number information provided during setup is incorrect or has not yet been uploaded successfully. If you receive this message, please contact your organisation’s internal champion, who will work with the One NZ team to correct and validate the number details. Once this has been completed, you’ll be able to continue your journey successfully.
If one of the connections I want to bring on as a Companion has an existing plan with One NZ and an interest free purchase, can I add them as a companion?
If the Unlock plan and existing plan are on different customer accounts:
The Interest Free Payments (IFP) are a financial contract which have been through a credit & fraud assessment against a specific customer. For this reason, we cannot transfer IFPs between customer accounts. This is part of our terms and conditions for Interest Free Payments. Therefore:
The remaining balance of the IFP would need to be paid back in full. The amount to be paid back would exclude any Interest-Free discount that you would have been entitled to if you remained for the full interest-free term. You would then be able to request a change of ownership and add this connection to your account as a Companion.
Alternatively, you could wait until the IFP contract has completed, and then request a change of ownership.
If the Unlock connection and existing connection are on the same customer account:
Changing the plan associated with the IFP to a companion plan will cause any IFP discounts to drop, if they were associated to being on a full priced plan.
Alternatively, you could wait until the IFP contract has completed, and then change the plan to a Companion plan with no impact.
