Important things to know
- Most Pay Monthly (On Account) Add-Ons can be used with these plans - see our Pay Monthly Add-Ons.
- Each call has a minimum charge of 1 minute. After the first minute, calls will be charged on a per second basis.
- Voicemail is charged at 20c per call for Smart Data Plans.
- If you are on Smart Data $70 or $90 you will get 1 NZBestMate included in your plan. If you are on Smart Data $120, $150 or $190 you will get 3 NZBestMates included in your plan.
- For Smart Data $70 and $90 plans, NZBestMate can be purchased as an Add-On, up to a maximum total of 3 NZBestMates per plan (including entitlements and Add-Ons).
- If you wish to change an NZBestMate it will cost $3 (incl GST). Any changes will be effective from the beginning of the following month.
- Calls to NZ landlines don’t include calls to special numbers such as 123, 018 or 0900 numbers.
- If you cancel or change a Smart Data plan before the term end date you must pay the applicable fee (this could be an early termination, plan transfer or resign fee). The fee you pay could be up to 50% of the full monthly access fee multiplied by the number of months left on the term.
- Plan transfers are not allowed from Smart Data plans other than within the Smart Data plan family. This includes transfers to Smart and Business Smart Data. (Applicable plan transfer fees may apply). Learn about plan cancellation and change fees.
