Samsung's foldable Z series for 2025.
Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 FE and Z Flip 7 phones were officially announced, late July in New York city on July 10, 2025, at 2a.m. New Zealand time, and are now available to buy.
Take a look at the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch Ultra that were shown at the same event.

What's notable:
Weighing just 215 grams, the Z Fold 7 is just 8.9 mm thick (folded) and 4.2mm when opened out. The Z Fold 7 comes with a wider screen and with a new 21:9 aspect ratio.

To help understand the differences between the Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 FE phones, the Z Flip 7 has a larger and brighter edge-to-edge screen, uses a faster processor, and also supports Samsung DeX.

Samsung's Galaxy S series for 2025.
The Galaxy S25 phone range was officially announced and unveiled on January 23, 2025.
The official release date in NZ for the Galaxy S25 range was February 7, 2025.

Pricing starts at $1,599 for the Galaxy S25, which has model number SM-S931B.
Pricing starts at $1,999 for the Galaxy S25+, which has model number SM-S936B
Pricing starts at $2,399 for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which has model number SM-S938B.

Android 12 and Android 12L are no longer supported, which applies to phones like the Galaxy S10 phones.
