At One New Zealand, we’re continuously investing in our mobile network to make sure we keep up with our customers' ever-increasing demand for data. This means we sometimes have to change our plans and prices.
On your first bill after 24 April, the price of your One Plan will go up by $5 (incl. GST) a month.
Unlimited Max Speed Data
We hope you’re enjoying all the unlimited max speed data your One Plan gives you. Stream and hot spot like crazy, you’ll never use it up, or have your speed reduced*.
There is no change to the price of any Companion plans, and they’ll also continue to enjoy unlimited max speed data.

Companion Plans | Available for $35 each per month on a Medium Pay Monthly plan and $40 each per month on One Plan™. |
Video Calls | Video Calls (excluding video calling apps and other data-based video calling features). $0.49/min to One NZ mobiles. Video calling is not supported to other NZ and international mobile service providers. |
Voicemail | Calls to voicemail are free. |

- Endless calls & TXTs are for standard person-to-person calls and TXTs to standard NZ and Australian numbers. Excludes special and premium numbers (i.e. short codes). Personal Mobile use only.
- Up to 3 Companion plans can be added per full priced Primary plan, to the same billing account. Companions must have the same plan type as the Primary plan. (i.e. if Primary plan is One Plan, all Companions must be on Companion One Plan). View full details here.
- If you sign up to this plan, any existing discounts you may have on your mobile account, will be removed.
- Any non-standard calls will be charged per minute, rounded up to the closest full minute, unless otherwise stated by the service provider.
- Daily Roaming: For just $8 a day you can use your NZ plan's data, minutes, TXTs and overseas with Daily Roaming. Simplified rates apply to other destinations.

FAQs
What will the changes look like on my bill?
- Your $80 a month ($69.56 excl. GST) One Plan will increase by $5 a month ($4.35 excl. GST) to $85 a month ($73.91 ex GST) on the first bill you receive after 24 April 2024. e.g. If your billing date is the 25th of every month, your 25th April bill will show your new price.
- There is no change to the price of Companion plans.
Is there anything I need to do if I'm happy to stay on my current plan?
- No there is nothing you need to do except continue to enjoy unlimited max speed data, and we're delighted you're staying with us.
Will this affect my Interest Free Payment?
- Don’t worry, the price change won’t affect your Interest Free Payment (if you have any) and you’ll be charged as normal for this.
- If you switch to a different Pay Monthly or Business Mobile plan, your current Interest Free payment will not drop off and will continue as normal.
- If you wish to cancel your plan you’ll need to pay the balance of your Interest Free Payment off when you go.
What will happen to my existing discounts I have on my account?
- If you stay on your current plan, any discounts you receive will remain the same after the price change.
- If you decide to switch to a different Pay Monthly or Business Mobile plan, any existing mobile discounts you have will drop.
How do I cancel my plan?
- We’ll be sad to see you go, but we understand if you now want to cancel your plan. If you have an interest free payment, you’ll need to pay the balance off when you go.

What other Pay Monthly plan options do I have?
- Depending on how much data you use, you may like to take a look at our other Pay Monthly Mobile plans or Business Mobile plans which include a set amount of max speed data, with endless data at reduced speeds.
Terms and Conditions
- Plan price change: Your monthly plan price change will happen on your next bill after 24 April 2024. If you stay on your current plan, any discounts you receive will remain when we move you.
- One Plan: *Fair use applies. Unlimited voice calls and TXTs to standard NZ and Aus numbers (e.g. no short codes or MMS/PXT). Personal mobile phone use only. Small and Medium
- Mobile Plans: Speeds reduced to a maximum of 1.2Mbps after Max Speed data allowance exceeded. Unlimited voice calls & TXTs to standard NZ & Aus numbers (e.g. no short codes or MMS/PXT).
- Companion Plans: On the $65 (incl. GST) Medium Mobile plan you can add up to 3 Companion plans for $35 (incl. GST) each month. On the $85 (incl. GST) One Plan you can add up to 3 Companion plans for $40 (incl. GST) each month. Companions must be on the same billing account and plan type must be the same as the Primary Plan (e.g. all One Plan plans). The Primary Plan account holder is liable for all charges including the cost of each plan. Companion plans are not available through the Online store.
