At One New Zealand, we’re continuously investing in our mobile network to make sure it performs the way you need it to and to keep up with our customers’ ever-increasing demand for data.
This means we sometimes have to change our prices.
On your first bill after the 17 January, the price of your Medium Mobile plan will go up by $5 (inc. GST) a month. If you’re paying $30 (inc. GST) for your Companion plan/s this will also go up by $5 (inc. GST) a month. All Companion plans will now be charged at $35 (inc. GST) a month.

The good news is you’ll get an extra 3GB of data when your prices change – that’s a whopping 15GB total of max speed data on your Medium Mobile and Companion plans every month!

- Endless calls & TXTs are for standard person-to-person calls and TXTs to standard NZ and Australian numbers. Excludes special and premium numbers (i.e. short codes). Personal Mobile use only.
- Up to 3 Companion plans can be added per full priced Primary plan, to the same billing account. Companions must have the same plan type as the Primary plan. (i.e. if Primary plan is $80 One Plan, all Companions must be on Companion One Plan). View Companion plan details.
- Any non-standard calls will be charged per minute, rounded up to the closest full minute, unless otherwise stated by the service provider.

When does my price change take effect from?
What will the changes look like on my bill?
- Your $60 a month ($52.17 ex GST) Medium Mobile plan will increase by $5 a month ($4.35 ex GST) to $65 a month ($56.52 ex GST) on the first bill you receive after the 17 January 2024. E.g. If your billing date is the 20th of every month, your 20 January bill will show your new price. Once your price changes you’ll receive an extra 3GBs of max speed data every month.
- If you have $30 a month ($26.09 ex GST) Companion plan this will also increase by $5 a month ($4.35 ex GST) to $35 a month ($30.43 ex GST) on the first bill you receive after the 17 January 2023. Once your price changes you’ll receive an extra 3GBs of max speed data every month.
- If you have $35 a month ($30.43 ex GST) Companion plan there is no change to the monthly price, but you will receive an extra FREE 3GBs of max speed data every month.
Is there anything I need to do if I’m happy to stay on my current plan?
- No there is nothing you need to do except enjoy the extra max speed data, and we're delighted you're staying with us.
Will this affect my Interest Free Payment?
- Don’t worry, the price change won’t affect your Interest Free Payment (if you have any) and you’ll be charged as normal for this.
- If you switch to a different Pay Monthly or Business Mobile plan, your current Interest Free payment will not drop off and will continue as normal.
- If you wish to cancel you plan you’ll need to pay the balance of your Interest Free Payment off when you go.
What will happen to my existing discounts I have on my account?
- If you stay on your current plan, any discounts you receive will remain when we move you.
- If you decide to switch to a different Pay Monthly or Business Mobile plan, any existing mobile discounts you have will drop.
How do I cancel my plan?
- We’ll be sad to see you go, but we understand if you now want to cancel your plan. If you have an interest free payment, you’ll need to pay the balance off when you go.

What other Pay Monthly plan options do I have?
- Depending on how much data you use, you may like to take a look at our other Pay Monthly Mobile plans or Business Mobile plans which include an entry price option.
- Our entry price $45 Endless Small plan ($39.13 ex GST) may be suitable if you find you’re using less data as it only includes 5GB of max speed data.
Terms and Conditions
- Plan price change: Your monthly plan price change will happen on your next bill after the 17 January 2024. If you stay on your current plan, any discounts you receive will remain when we move you.
- Medium Mobile and Companion Plans: Speeds reduced to a maximum of 1.2Mbps after Max Speed data allowance exceeded. Unlimited voice calls and TXTs to standard NZ & Aus numbers (e.g. no short codes or MMS/PXT). Personal mobile phone use only. On the $65 (inc. GST) Pay Monthly plan you can add up to 3 Companion plans for $35 (inc. GST) each per month, or on the $80 (inc. GST) Pay Monthly plan you can add up to 3 Companion plans for $40 (inc. GST) each month. Companions must be on the same billing account and the plan type must be the same as the Primary Plan (e.g. all One Plan™ plans). The Primary Plan account holder is liable for all charges including the cost of each plan. Companion plans are not available through the Online store. Fair use terms applies, Mobile terms, Pay Monthly terms and Business terms apply.
