How does buying accessories on interest free work?
Similar to buying a mobile phone with us on Interest Free, it’s the same for accessories. Once you’re on a Pay Monthly mobile plan with us, just pick from the range of accessories available on Interest Free, pay the relevant deposit amount and then the rest of the cost will be spread out across the Interest Free term options available for that accessory (12 and/or 24 months). There are no additional fees and you can choose to pay off your Interest Free Payment (IFP) quicker if you don’t have any discounts on your accessory.
If you have a discount on your accessory on IFP, you’ll need to stay on the term you’ve chosen to keep that discount. If you decide to leave early, you’ll lose your accessory on IFP discount and need to pay the balance of the Interest Free amount.

Are there any extra costs if I buy an accessory on interest free?
There are no additional costs when buying on interest free, you just need to be on or sign up to an eligible Pay Monthly mobile plan and pay the upfront deposit which varies depending on the accessory.

You can buy multiple accessories on interest free once you pass the initial credit check. You can chat with any of our team in-store to find out more.
Do I have to pay a deposit when buying an accessory on interest free?
The amount of deposit will depend on the accessory you buy and you have the option of paying more than the deposit upfront (you must choose from a list of chosen amounts from One NZ). Please check with our team in-store if you have questions about specific items.
How can I see stock availability of accessories in-store?
If you’re looking for a certain accessory, you can find your local store and give our team a call to check for you. We have a wide range of accessories, from Apple Watch models through to phone cases, but check with your store for availability.
Can I pay off my Interest Free Payment earlier than my chosen term?
Yes, if you don’t have a discount on your item you can choose to pay it off whenever you’d like. However, if you have a discount on your accessory due to IFP, you’ll need to stay on your 12 or 24 month term to keep your discount.
What are the benefits of buying an accessory on interest free?
Buying an accessory on interest free means you can pay off the cost of the item (minus the upfront deposit) over a 12 or 24 month term rather than paying everything upfront. It’s also easy to pay as we’ll add it to your current Pay Monthly mobile bill so it’s all in one.
Do I need to do a credit check for buying accessories on interest free?
You’ll only need to go through our standard credit check if you’re a new customer signing up to any Interest Free Payment (both mobile devices and accessories). If you’re already a customer with us, you won’t need to repeat the full credit check process however we may carry out a credit assessment on your account.
