Our team is here to keep you connected, and we’re always working hard to deliver a great experience. However, rising third party wholesale costs, increasing technology costs and the cost of network improvements to provide a reliable service, means we’re updating our prices soon. ​

Your plan prices will change on your first bill from 22 April 2026. ​

When does my price change take effect from?

Our new prices are effective from the 22 April 2026. You will see the new price reflected in your first bill from this date.

Why have you increased my price?

Our team is working hard to keep up with the ever-changing connectivity needs of Kiwi. However, rising wholesale and technology costs, and network improvements means we’re updating our prices soon.

Do we need to do anything?

There’s nothing you need to do if you’re happy to stick with your existing plan. Your new monthly price will take effect automatically in your next billing cycle after 22 April 2026.

If you pay by automatic payment, you’ll need to update your payment details directly with your bank once the new price takes effect. If you have a direct debit it will go through as normal. Otherwise, you don’t need to do anything.

Will this affect my Interest Free Payment?

Don’t worry, the price change won’t affect your Interest Free Payment (if you have any) and you’ll be charged as normal for this.

If you cancel your service, a standard 30-day /20 business day notice period applies, and you’ll need to pay the balance of your Interest Free Payment off when you go.

What will happen to my existing discounts I have on my account?

If you stay on your current plan, any discounts you receive will remain.

If you decide to switch and downgrade your Pay Monthly or Business Mobile plan, you could lose any discounts remaining on the interest free payments for the phone attached to that plan.

If you cancel your service, a standard 30-day /20 business day notice period applies, and you’ll need to pay the balance of your Interest Free Payment off when you go.

What will my new bill look like?

Your new monthly plan price will start from your next bill after 22 April 2026. You won’t see this change until the first invoice you receive after this date. For example, if you receive your invoices on the 18th of every month then you will see your monthly plan price from the 18th May 2026.

Can I avoid the price increase by changing my mobile plan?

When does my Prepay price change take effect from?

Our new prices are effective when you renew your Plan or Add-On after 21 April 2026. You will see the new price reflected in My One NZ from this date.

Why have you increased my Prepay price?

We’re updating the price of these Prepay Plans and Add-On to support the growing needs of Kiwi with a faster and resilient network.

Do I need to do anything?

There’s nothing you need to do if you’re happy to stick with your existing Prepay Plan or Add-On. The new price will take effect when you next renew after 21 April 2026.

What are my Prepay options?

You’re in control. If your needs have changed, check your plan and options at one.nz/app.

What will happen to my existing discounts I have on my account?

If you stay on your current plan, any discounts you receive will remain.

If you decide to switch to a different Broadband plan, any existing discounts you have will drop.

What if I’m on a fixed term contract but I wish to end my contract because of the price change?

For more information about ending your contract, you can refer to “How to cancel a Personal account or service” or for business customers visit How to cancel a Business account or service.

If you are in a fixed term contract and wish to cancel your contract, you can fill out Broadband cancellation form.

What if I have a SmartWiFi or SuperWiFi term contract?

If you have a SmartWiFi or SuperWiFi term attached to your account, and you cancel your Broadband Plan before the end of the term, then an Early Termination Charge will apply. For full details refer to the Unlimited – Fibre Broadband Offer Summary.

Can I avoid the price increase by changing my broadband plan?
