Terms - One Wallet
On 28 January 2026, we made some updates to these One Wallet terms and conditions. You can refer to the previous terms here.
1. One Wallet is available to access if 6you have a mobile number on a New Zealand mobile network.
2. If you are a One New Zealand (‘One NZ’) mobile customer, you can:
- Download and register for the My One NZ app; and
- Add your mobile number as a service in the My One NZ app,
One Wallet will then be available for you via the One Wallet tile within 48 hours.
3.One Wallet is also available at whatsinmywallet.one.nz:
- Enter your New Zealand mobile number into whatsinmywallet.one.nz;
- One NZ will send you an SMS with a one-time password code;
- Enter the one-time password code into whatsinmywallet.one.nz and your One Wallet will be available to you.
4. One Phone Dollar is equivalent to one New Zealand dollar.
5. To redeem your Phone Dollars balance, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Be a One NZ customer on an eligible Pay Monthly plan;
- Be the account holder of the mobile number associated with the One Wallet; and
- Visit a One NZ retail store and pass a credit check.
6. You must use at least $1 Phone Dollar of your Phone Dollars balance when redeeming.
7. Your Phone Dollars balance can only be redeemed for the mobile number associated with your One Wallet. Your Phone Dollars balance must be put towards a new phone purchase with a minimum value of $199 including GST, on a 24 or 36 month Interest Free term with an eligible One NZ Pay Monthly plan.
8. Your redeemed Phone Dollars balance will be spread evenly over the agreed Interest Free term as a One Wallet discount. The One Wallet discount will be applied from your first monthly bill. If you cancel, transfer or trade down your eligible One NZ Pay Monthly plan in the middle of your billing month, you will not receive the discount for that month, and you will be ineligible for any remaining One Wallet discount from that point onwards.
9. After your One Wallet discount is applied, a minimum remaining Interest Free amount of at least $1 must be payable over your Interest Free term.
10. A minimum deposit is required when purchasing a phone on Interest Free. You can use the trade-in value of your old phone to cover the deposit, but you can’t use any other part of your Phone Dollars balance as the deposit for your Interest Free purchase.
11. We may, at our sole discretion, apply an initial welcome boost of a value of our choice to your One Wallet when you first access your One Wallet.
12. We may at any time, at our sole discretion, apply a goodwill balance of a value of our choice to your One Wallet.
13. We may send you personalised offers to help you build your Phone Dollars balance. These offers are only valid for your mobile number associated with your One Wallet. You must redeem an offer by the expiry date specified in the offer.
14. You will need to save some offers sent to you and then add that offer in your One Wallet by the expiry date specified in the offer. We will tell you in the offer details if you need to save an offer.
15. The expiry date for each portion of Phone Dollars added to your One Wallet will be shown in your One Wallet offer details and balance activity.
16. Phone Dollars will be removed from your balance as they expire.
17. If Phone Dollars are added to your Phone Dollars balance because you have saved and added an offer, and you then later become ineligible for that offer (i.e. if you upgrade your mobile plan and then transfer off that plan), the Phone Dollars that were added to your Phone Dollars balance from that offer will be removed.
18. We may change and update One Wallet offers and benefits from time to time.
19. The maximum value that you can reach in your Phone Dollars balance is $4,999.99 Phone Dollars, including any offers available to you that you have not yet saved. Any value added to your balance from a trade-in quote or a device offer is excluded.
20. If you are a One NZ mobile customer, your One Wallet is owned by the account holder of the associated One NZ mobile number.
21. Your Phone Dollars balance is linked to the mobile number associated with your One Wallet. Other than as set out in these Terms, the balance cannot be transferred, shared or redeemed by any other person or mobile number that is not the account holder.
22. If you are the account holder, you may transfer the Phone Dollars balance (excluding any trade-in estimate and device offers) from the primary One Wallet on your One NZ billing account to another One Wallet on that billing account. The transferred balance must be redeemed within 30 days, otherwise it will expire and be removed from the balance.
23. If you earn Phone Dollars through a partner offer, are an employee of a One NZ business customer and that business customer owns your mobile connection, you may:
- Gift Phone Dollars added to your One Wallet through a partner offer to another mobile number;
- Set up a personal One NZ Pay Monthly plan in your own name and gift Phone Dollars added to your One Wallet through a partner offer to that mobile number.
Phone Dollars earned through a partner offer and gifted in this way will keep their current expiry at the time of gifting.
24. Your Phone Dollars balance, Phone Dollars and any One Wallet discount cannot be exchanged and is not redeemable for cash.
25. Your Phone Dollars balance cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer, including Interest Free discounts.
26. After your One Wallet discount is applied to an Interest Free term, if you use One Upgrade to upgrade to a new phone on a new Interest Free term, you will lose your One Wallet discount and it cannot be transferred to the new Interest Free term.
27. If you move your One NZ mobile number associated with the One Wallet to another billing account on the same customer account, or if you change ownership of the One NZ mobile number to another customer account, the One Wallet will remain active and the Phone Dollars balance and any eligible offers will also remain active. Any offers that are no longer eligible will be removed.
28. Your access to One Wallet and your Phone Dollars balance will be removed:
- If you are a One NZ mobile customer: if your mobile number is disconnected or suspended from the One NZ mobile network, or in the event of your death;
- If you are not a One NZ mobile customer: 12 months after you last accessed your One Wallet or earned Phone Dollars.
It may take up to 48 hours for One Wallet to reflect that your One Wallet access and balance has been removed.
29. We may cancel or suspend your access to One Wallet by notice in writing if we reasonably believe that you have abused, misused or obtained by any misrepresentation your Phone Dollars balance (or any part of your balance).
30. We reserve the right to adjust your Phone Dollars balance if we identify any inaccuracy or if we reasonably believe that you have misused your One Wallet or any fraudulent activity has occurred on your One Wallet.
31. One New Zealand Group Limited is a registered financial services provider (FSP1011408).
32. You can get in touch with us if you have a problem or are unhappy with your One NZ service. If you’re still not happy, you can also complain to:
• Financial Services Complaints Limited if your complaint is about One Wallet or how Phone Dollars were earned, allocated or redeemed; or
• Telecommunications Dispute Resolution if your complaint is about your Pay Monthly plan, One NZ service or your mobile phone.
33. We may terminate One Wallet by giving you 30 days written notice. You may use your Phone Dollars balance during that 30 day period, however your balance and access to One Wallet will be removed at the end of that 30 day period.
34. We may change these One Wallet Terms and Conditions from time to time.
One NZ’s General Consumer Terms, Business Terms, Mobile Terms, Interest Free Payment Terms, Trade-in Terms, One Upgrade Terms and Privacy Policy apply.
One Wallet Offer Terms
Bill Bonus Offer:
*Save this offer to earn a percentage of your bill back in Phone Dollars every month, with Bill Bonus. The more eligible connections you have, the more you’ll get.
- Offer available if you are a One NZ mobile customer and have received the Bill Bonus offer tile in your One Wallet.
- Phone Dollars will be automatically added to your Phone Dollars balance each month on your billing date based on the number of eligible plans you have on your billing account, until the offer expires or is withdrawn.
- Each month, we will calculate the number of eligible plans on your billing account, and you will receive:
- One eligible plan: 2% of the value of that plan, excluding any discounts associated with that plan, as Phone Dollars for that month’s Bill Bonus;
- Two eligible plans: 4% of the value of those plans, excluding any discounts associated with those plans, as Phone Dollars as for that month’s Bill Bonus;
- Three or more eligible plans: 6% of the value of those eligible plans, excluding any discounts associated with those plans, as Phone Dollars for that month’s Bill Bonus.
- Part-month charges: If you add a new eligible connection or cancel an existing eligible connection part way through your usual billing cycle, your Bill Bonus calculation will not include that part month of charges.
- You can earn a maximum of $50 Phone Dollars each month from your Bill Bonus.

- We may automatically change your next month’s Bill Bonus offer amount if the number and/or value of the eligible plans you have on your billing account changes.
- We may suspend your Bill Bonus offer if your bill is overdue until the outstanding balance has been paid in full.
- If after you have saved this offer you become ineligible for it, or your billing account bill payer contact number changes, any Phone Dollars that have been added to your One Wallet for this offer will stay in your balance until they expire or are redeemed.
- The expiry date for Phone Dollars added to your Phone Dollars balance will be shown in your balance history.
- This offer is valid until the date shown on the Bill Bonus offer in your One Wallet.
- This offer is not transferrable, and we may withdraw, amend or extend this offer at any time.

Connect More, Get More:
*Save this offer to receive $300 Phone Dollars for every additional eligible mobile or broadband connection you bring under your One NZ Pay Monthly billing account.
- Offer available if you are a One NZ mobile customer and have received the Connect More, Get More offer tile in your One Wallet.
- You must save the offer in your One Wallet before the eligible new connections are activated.
- New connections must be new to the One NZ network.
- Earn $300 Phone Dollars for each eligible new connection you add to the billing account associated with your One Wallet.
- The following plans are eligible new connections for this offer:
- Personal and Business Pay Monthly plans: Companion Endless Plus, Companion One Plan, Endless Plus, Endless Starter, Lite Plan and One Plan.

Dosh: Earn everyday offer
- Offer available if you have received the ‘Earn everyday’ offer tile in your One Wallet.
- Each time you use your One NZ dosh Visa debit card on an eligible purchase, you will earn 1% of the value of that transaction in Phone Dollars .
- The value of your eligible purchase will be rounded in accordance with Swedish Rounding Rules, and your Phone Dollars bonus will be calculated based on the rounded amount. For example, a purchase of $151.42 would earn $1.51 Phone Dollars through this offer; a purchase of $151.62 would earn $1.52 Phone Dollars through this offer.
- Eligible purchases are everyday retail consumer purchases for goods and services made using your One NZ dosh Visa card but exclude :
- any purchase Dosh reasonably believes to be a business expense;
- cash advances;
- gambling, betting or lottery transactions;
- IRD payments, Department of Internal Affairs, NZTA, Immigration NZ, Residential Tenancy, ACC Levy, Council rates, fines, and other government fees;
- unauthorised transactions on your card/account;
- transactions with securities brokers or dealers or buy now pay later providers;
- debt repayments;

- A maximum eligible spend limit per customer may be imposed with 30 days’ notice.
- The Phone Dollars earn rate of 1% for eligible purchases may be changed with 30 days’ notice.
- You must keep your One NZ dosh Visa Debit Card and comply with all applicable terms and conditions in relation to your Dosh account to be eligible for this offer.
- Phone Dollars earned through this offer are calculated net of reversals, reimbursements and refunds.

- You must keep your home loan with Dosh for 24 months from settlement of your home loan. - Offer available if you are a One NZ mobile customer and have received the Set Up Autopay offer tile in your One Wallet and change the payment method on the billing account associated with your One Wallet to pay by direct debit.
- Phone Dollars from this offer will be added when the payment method is updated to direct debit on the billing account, but may take up to 48 hours to show in your One Wallet.
- Once you have redeemed this offer and Phone Dollars have been added to your One Wallet, if you then become ineligible for the offer (i.e. you change your payment method to something other than by direct debit), the relevant Phone Dollars will be removed from your One Wallet.
- The expiry date for Phone Dollars added to your One Wallet will be shown in your balance history.
- This offer is valid until the date shown on the autopay offer in your One Wallet.
- This offer is not transferrable, and we may withdraw, amend or extend this offer at any time.

Trade-in Offer:
*Want Phone Dollars for your old phone? Tell us a bit about its condition and the estimated value is added to your balance (subject to in-store check).
- Offer available if you have received the Trade-in offer tile in your One Wallet and then add the trade-in estimate to your Phone Dollars balance.
- Trade-in quotes are subject to our Trade-in Terms, including an in store visual inspection of the phone to verify the condition and determine the trade-in value.
- Trade-in quotes added to your Phone Dollars balance are only valid until the date indicated on the quote provided.
- Your Phone Dollars balance will automatically update over time as the estimated value changes.

Upgrade Your Plan/Switch to Pay Monthly Offer:

- Phone Dollars from this offer will be added when your Pay Monthly plan upgrade becomes active, but may take up to 48 hours to show in your One Wallet.
- Once you have redeemed this offer and Phone Dollars have been added to your One Wallet, if you then become ineligible for the offer (i.e. you cancel or trade down your new One Plan Pay Monthly plan), the relevant Phone Dollars will be removed from your One Wallet.
- The expiry date for Phone Dollars added to your One Wallet will be shown in your balance history.
- This offer is valid until the date shown on the upgrade offer in your One Wallet.
