1.2 If you have any questions related to these terms and conditions or the Vodafone Rewards programme please contact the Vodafone Rewards team by email rewards@vodafonerewards.co.nz, or call 0800 102 902. The terms of this promotion are as stated in writing here, and no other representations (written or oral) shall apply.
1.3 The Promoter is Vodafone New Zealand Limited, Vodafone New Zealand Limited, 74 Taharoto Road, Takapuna, Auckland 0622, New Zealand (“Promoter”). The promotion is administered by Rapport Group Limited (company number 6781753), with a registered office at 597 New North Road, Auckland (“Rapport”). 1. General Vodafone Rewards Terms and Conditions:
1.1 Vodafone’s “Vodafone Rewards” loyalty programme provides various prizes, discounts, vouchers, tickets and other benefits (“Offers”) on some of our plans. Specific terms for each current Offer are listed at the bottom of this page. Subject to those, the following general terms also apply:
Vodafone Rewards eligibility:
1.2 To be eligible to receive Vodafone rewards offers (an “Eligible User”) you must be:
- a Vodafone Broadband or Mobile account holder; or
- the account holder has given you access to the Vodafone Broadband or Mobile service; or
- a permanent Vodafone employee.
- and you have an active My Vodafone account.
1.3 You can create a My Vodafone account by downloading the My Vodafone App and choosing ‘Register now’. Once you’ve registered and signed into the app, follow the instructions on screen to add your service and then you can access and use Vodafone Rewards. If you have any issues creating a My Vodafone account or signing into Vodafone Rewards using your My Vodafone credentials, you can call 777 from your mobile.
Offers and competitions
1.4 Vodafone may extend, cancel or amend an Offer at any time, at its sole discretion.
1.5 You cannot transfer any Offers you receive to others, or exchange Offers for cash or other benefits. If you are under 18 years of age, we reserve the right to award any Offers you receive to your parent or guardian.
1.6 For Offers which provide access to experiences or events, or where any third party is involved in providing the Offers (“Third Party”):
- your use of the Offers is subject to any Third Party’s terms that may apply, including restrictions on access to venues. You agree that Vodafone and any Third Party are not responsible for any refused entry, cancellations or changes to any events; lost, stolen or damaged tickets or vouchers; incorrectly completed, lost, delayed or unprocessed online purchases; or the validity of any tickets or vouchers.
- any tickets or vouchers are subject to limited availability and will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Tickets and vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be transferred or sold without the prior written consent of Vodafone or any relevant Third Party. It is your responsibility to ensure that tickets or vouchers are used before any specified expiry date.
- any expenses (including travel, accommodation, food and beverage and any other costs) incurred in relation to accepting or using the Offer is your and your guest’s responsibility.
- any guests that accompany you to events will be deemed to have accepted these terms. Customers under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the events by a parent or guardian.
1.7 The following terms apply to any competitions or prize draws or other similar promotions with specific entry requirements:
- only one application is permitted per person per Offer. Entry is open to Vodafone customers and Vodafone employees, except: (1) anyone aged 15 or under; and (2) anyone professionally connected with any Offers.
- you must be a current Vodafone customer or employee in order to be eligible to win a prize from Vodafone Rewards. Winners of prizes will be notified using the details provided as part of your My Vodafone registration, either by email or mobile. It is the responsibility of the customer to keep these contact details up to date. If we have made 1 reasonable attempt to contact a winner, and the winner has not responded within 24 hours, or the winner is unable to use the prize, the prize will be forfeited, and Vodafone will randomly choose another winner. In the event of any dispute, Vodafone’s decision is final.
- all rights in any entries and materials provided to us through participation in Vodafone Rewards become our property. By participating you agree to participate in any publicity related to the Offer, and that Vodafone can use your likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording) in any media for an unlimited period of time without payment, to promote Vodafone Rewards and any of its other products.
1.8 The Vodafone Movies Promotion is subject to the terms and conditions below. These vary depending on the cinema chosen.
1.9 By participating in Vodafone Rewards or by submitting any contact details, you consent to receive the latest news, special offers, promotions and information from Vodafone by email, TXT or other channels from time to time. If at any stage you do not want to receive this information then please let us know by contacting 777 from your Vodafone mobile, going to My Vodafone at www.vodafone.co.nz, or use the unsubscribe feature on emails we send you. Any personal information which we collect from you will only be used in accordance with Vodafone’s Privacy Policy.
1.10 Vodafone (and any relevant Third Party) makes no guarantee as to the quality and/or availability of the Offers, and is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using an Offer, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
1.11 Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination and/or recent Covid-19 testing may be required as a condition of entry to many New Zealand venues and events. Additional requirements may apply to domestic or international travel. You are responsible for ensuring that you meet all such requirements. Vodafone will not be responsible where vaccination or testing requirements prevent entry to any venue or event.
1.12 Any persons taking advantage of any Vodafone Rewards offer do so on complete acceptance of these terms and conditions and the Vodafone New Zealand Privacy Policy.
2. Vodafone Rewards Movie Promotion Terms and Conditions
General Vodafone discounted movie voucher and ticket terms:
2.1 By participating in the Vodafone Rewards Movie promotion, you accept these terms and conditions and the Vodafone New Zealand Privacy Policy. Purchase of Vodafone Rewards movie vouchers or tickets is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions, including the terms and conditions specific to the cinema (see further below).
2.2 Pricing, terms and conditions and the list of participating cinemas may vary from time to time. You are bound by the conditions applicable on the day of purchase. All vouchers and tickets are sold on a no refund, exchange or cancellation basis.
2.3 Vodafone New Zealand or its agent Rapport Group Limited reserve the right to cancel this Vodafone Rewards benefit at any time, modify the pricing, modify the terms and conditions and to disqualify any individual who is deemed to be abusing the Vodafone Rewards Movie promotion.
2.4 All prices listed on this site are in New Zealand Dollars.
Purchasing and refunds:
2.5 Vodafone discounted movie tickets and vouchers can only be purchased at https://rewards.vodafone.co.nz, via the My Vodafone website, or via the My Vodafone App. You cannot purchase Vodafone ticket prices directly through a participating cinema’s website, by phone or in the cinema.
2.6 During periods of high demand, stock may become unavailable, or availability may be limited. Eligible users are not entitled to any compensation for a lack of stock availability.
2.7 Up to ten (10) vouchers or tickets can be purchased in a single transaction.
2.8 Payments for vouchers or tickets can be made by debit or credit card only. You must be properly authorised to use the debit or credit card that you use to purchase the vouchers or tickets.
2.9 Eligible users can purchase a maximum of forty (40) Vodafone discounted tickets or vouchers in a calendar month. Purchases in excess of this limit are deemed to be an abuse of this Vodafone benefit and Vodafone is entitled to cancel any vouchers or tickets issued with no obligation to refund the purchaser.
2.10 Payment for all vouchers and tickets is taken by Rapport Group Limited on behalf of Vodafone Rewards. Your purchase will appear on your statement as a debit for Vodafone Movies Promo.
2.11 From time-to-time cinema ticket prices may be lower than the purchase price of the Vodafone voucher or Vodafone ticket price. Eligible users are not entitled to any compensation, change or refund should a cinema ticket price be lower than the price paid on the Vodafone Rewards website.
2.12 Once purchased, vouchers and tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No change will be given.
2.13 To the extent permitted by law, all refunds will be at the sole discretion of Vodafone New Zealand.
3. Use of Vodafone movie vouchers and tickets at participating cinemas:
3.1 Vouchers or tickets bought through the Vodafone Reward website cannot be sold to any other individual or company, or gifted for commercial gain, without the prior written consent of both Vodafone New Zealand Limited and the applicable cinema. A breach of this term is deemed to be an abuse of this Vodafone benefit and Vodafone is entitled to cancel any vouchers or tickets issued with no obligation to refund the purchaser.
3.2 Film classification rules apply to all movies. It is your responsibility to check the classification of each movie prior to purchase on the Vodafone Rewards website. ID may be required. The cinema may refuse any ticket holders entry to restricted movies who do not meet the age criteria or who cannot provide proof of age, and they will not provide a refund.
3.3 To the extent permitted by law, neither the Promoter, Rapport nor its agents and distributors guarantee the quality and/or availability of the services offered by the venues nor can they be held liable for any resulting personal loss or damage.
3.4 Any disputes raised by customers pertaining to use of the tickets or vouchers are strictly between the customer and the participating cinema.
HOYTS Cinema voucher terms and conditions:
3.5 These vouchers are valid at any HOYTS or Berkeley Cinema in New Zealand. They cannot be used at any other Vodafone Rewards participating cinema.
3.6 Vouchers will be sent from noreply@vodafone.co.nz to the nominated email address and can also be found by clicking on the ticket icon when logged into the Vodafone Rewards website.
3.7 Vouchers must be exchanged for a ticket at a HOYTS Box Office or Candy Bar or redeemed at HOYTS.co.nz.
To redeem in cinema please either show the voucher on your mobile device or take a printed copy of the voucher. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure the voucher details, including the barcode is legible.
If redeemed at HOYTS.co.nz both the voucher number and PIN are required to be entered. HOYTS will charge an additional online booking fee of $1.50 for redeeming on the HOYTS website.
3.8 The purchase of a Vodafone movie voucher does not guarantee availability of a ticket to a specific movie or session. Vodafone movie voucher holders will receive no preference over other HOYTS’ customers in purchasing tickets. A refund will not be given if your desired session is not available.
3.9 Each Vodafone Adult Off-Peak Voucher:
- can be used for any standard session at HOYTS or Berkeley cinemas in New Zealand, except after 2pm on Saturday, Sunday or anytime on public holidays; or
- for any 3D or Xtremescreen movie session with an upgrade fee (which will be applied at time of redemption);
- is valid until the expiry date and cannot be exchanged, extended or replaced; and
- can only be used once.
3.10 Each Vodafone Child Off-Peak Voucher:
- is for use by children between three (3) and fifteen (15) years of age. Children aged two (2) years and under receive free admittance, as long as they are sitting on the knee of a fully paid adult throughout the duration of the film;
- can be used for any standard session at HOYTS or Berkeley cinemas in New Zealand, except after 2pm on Saturday, Sunday or anytime on public holidays; or for any 3D or Xtremescreen movie session with an upgrade fee (which will be applied at time of redemption);
- is valid until the expiry date and cannot be exchanged, extended or replaced; and
- can only be used once.
3.11 Vodafone Adult Off-Peak Vouchers and Vodafone Child Off-Peak Vouchers cannot be:
- used for sessions after 2pm on Saturday or Sunday;
- used on public holidays;
- redeemed for or upgraded to D-BOX, HOYTS LUX, recliner, Film Festival, special or group events;
- used to purchase 3D glasses. 3D glasses must be purchased separately at an additional cost;
- used in conjunction with any other offer;
- replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged;
- used to purchase any pre-paid movie vouchers, gift cards, Candy Bar items or HOYTS Rewards memberships;
- exchanged for cash (and change will not be given irrespective of cinema pricing); or
- sold to any other individual or company, or gifted for commercial gain, without the prior written consent of both Vodafone New Zealand and HOYTS cinemas (NZ) Ply Ltd.

Event Cinema Voucher terms and conditions:
3.12 These vouchers are valid at any EVENT Cinema, Rialto Dunedin or Rialto Newmarket in New Zealand. They cannot be used at any other Vodafone Rewards participating cinema.
3.13 Vouchers will be sent from noreply@vodafone.co.nz to the nominated email address and can also be found by clicking on the ticket icon when logged into the Vodafone Rewards website.
3.14 Vouchers must be exchanged for a ticket at an Event Cinema Box Office or Candy Bar or redeemed at eventcinema.co.nz.
To redeem in cinema please either show the voucher on your mobile device or take a printed copy of the voucher. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure the voucher details, including the barcode is legible.
If redeemed at eventcinema.co.nz both the voucher number and PIN are required to be entered. EVENT Cinema will charge an additional online booking fee of $1.50 for redeeming on the EVENT website.
3.15 The purchase of a Vodafone movie voucher does not guarantee availability of a ticket to a specific movie or session. Vodafone movie voucher holders will receive no preference over other EVENT Cinemas’ customers in purchasing tickets. A refund will not be given if your desired session is not available.
3.16 There are four (4) types of Vodafone vouchers available for Event Cinemas. Vodafone Anytime Vouchers can be used at any time, while Vodafone Off-peak Vouchers have blackout dates and times.
- Vodafone Adult Anytime Voucher, valid to be used at any time.
- Vodafone Adult Off-peak Voucher, valid to be used at any time, except after 5pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and all day on public holidays.
- Vodafone Child Anytime Voucher, valid to be used at any time. For use by children between three (3) and fifteen (15) years of age.
- Vodafone Child Off-peak Voucher, valid to be used at any time, except after 5pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and all day on public holidays. For use by children between three (3) and fifteen (15) years of age.
3.17 Each voucher is redeemable for one (1) general admission ticket for one (1) adult or one (1) child (as purchased) and:
- can be used for any standard session EVENT Cinema, Rialto Dunedin or Rialto Newmarket in New Zealand, except for Off-Peak Vouchers that cannot be used after 5pm on Friday and Saturday or all day on public holidays;
- can be upgraded to IMAX, VMAX, 3D or Premium seating options when a surcharge is paid at the same time as redeeming the voucher;
- is valid until the expiry date and cannot be exchanged, extended or replaced; and
- can only be used once.
3.18 Vodafone Anytime Vouchers and Vodafone Off-peak Vouchers cannot be:
- redeemed for or upgraded to Gold Class, Boutique Cinemas, Day Bed seating, Embassy Theatre Platinum seating, movie marathons, group bookings, advanced screenings, special events and experiences, film festivals, alternative content and select World Cinema;
- used to purchase 3D glasses. 3D glasses must be purchased separately at an additional cost;
- used in conjunction with any other offer;
- replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged;
- used to purchase any pre-paid movie vouchers, gift cards or Candy Bar items;
- exchanged for cash (and change will not be given irrespective of cinema pricing); or
- sold to any other individual or company, or gifted for commercial gain, without the prior written consent of both Vodafone New Zealand and EVENT Cinemas (NZ) Limited

Independent Cinema voucher terms and conditions:
3.19 These voucher terms and conditions relate to vouchers at the following participating Independent Cinemas:
- Cinema Paradiso, Canterbury
- Dome Cinema, Gisborne
- Focal Point Cinema & Café Fielding, Manawatu-Whanganui
- Focal Point Cinema & Café Hastings, Hawkes Bay
- Focal Point Cinema & Café Levin, Manawatu-Whanganui
- Focal Point Cinema & Café Palmerston North, Manawatu-Whanganui
- Hollywood 3, Canterbury
- Light House Cuba, Wellington-Wairarapa
- Light House Pauatahanui, Wellington-Wairarapa
- Light House Petone, Wellington-Wairarapa
- NBS Theatre, West Coast
- State Cinema Motueka, Nelson-Tasman Bay
- State Cinemas (Nelson), Nelson-Tasman Bay
- Te Ahu Cinema, Northland

3.20 These vouchers are valid for the cinema they are purchased for. They cannot be used at any other Vodafone Rewards participating cinema.
3.21 Vouchers will be sent from noreply@vodafone.co.nz to the nominated email address and can also be found by clicking on the ticket icon when logged in to the Vodafone Rewards website.
3.22 Vouchers must be exchanged for your ticket at the Cinema Box Office or Candy Bar.
To redeem in cinema please either show the voucher on your mobile device or take a printed copy of the voucher. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure the voucher details, including the barcode is legible.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed on the relevant cinema’s website.
3.23 The purchase of a Vodafone movie voucher does not guarantee availability of a ticket to a specific movie or session. Vodafone movie voucher holders will receive no preference over the cinemas’ other customers in purchasing tickets. A refund will not be given if your desired session is not available.
3.24 There are four (4) types of Vodafone vouchers that may be available for purchase. Cinemas choose which vouchers are available, so not all voucher types may be available at all cinemas. Prices vary between cinemas, so please check pricing prior to purchase. A payment processing fee of 3.75% of is charged in addition to the Voucher cost.
- Vodafone Anytime Vouchers can be used at any time
- Vodafone Off-peak Vouchers have blackout dates and times. They cannot be used after 5pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and anytime on public holidays.
- Children’s Vouchers are for use by children between three (3) and fifteen (15) years of age.
3.25 Each Voucher is redeemable for one (1) general admission ticket for one (1) adult or one (1) child (as purchased) and:
- can be used for any standard 2D session at the nominated cinema, except for Off-Peak Vouchers that cannot be used after 5pm on Friday and Saturday or anytime on public holidays;
- can be used for any 3D with an upgrade fee, which will be applied at time of redemption;
- is valid until the expiry date and cannot be exchanged, extended or replaced; and
- can only be used once.
3.26 Vodafone vouchers cannot be:
- redeemed or upgraded for any session where the ticket price is higher than a standard admission ticket including group bookings, advanced screenings, special events and experiences, film festivals, Met Opera, NT or premium content;
- used to purchase 3D glasses. 3D glasses must be purchased separately at an additional cost;
- used in conjunction with any other offer;
- replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged;
- used to purchase any pre-paid movie vouchers, gift cards or Candy Bar items;
- exchanged for cash (and change will not be given irrespective of cinema pricing); or
- sold to any other individual or company, or gifted for commercial gain, without the prior written consent of both Vodafone New Zealand Limited and the applicable cinema.
Individual cinemas have the right to refuse entry based on their own terms and conditions. Please see the applicable cinema’s website for more details.
Independent Cinema ticket terms and conditions:
3.27 These terms and conditions relate to tickets at the following participating Independent Cinemas:
- Alice Cinema, Canterbury
- Deluxe Cinema, Canterbury
- Monterey Cinema Howick, Auckland
- Monterey Cinema Takapuna, Auckland
- Monterey Cinema Upper Hutt, Wellington-Wairarapa
- Regent Greymouth, West Coast
- Rubys Cinema & Bar, Otago
- The Bridgeway, Auckland
- Town Hall Cinema, Canterbury.
3.28 Tickets for the cinemas can be purchased for specific movie sessions and times.
3.29 Tickets will be sent from noreply@vodafone.co.nz to the nominated email address and can also be found by clicking on the ticket icon when logged into the Vodafone Rewards website.
3.30 Tickets must be taken to the Cinema Box Office or Candy Bar. To redeem in cinema please either show the ticket or booking reference on your mobile device or take a printed copy of the ticket. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure the ticket details, including the barcode is legible.
3.31 There are four (4) types of Vodafone tickets that may be available for purchase, in addition to the cinema’s standard tickets. Cinemas choose which tickets are available, so not all ticket types may be available at all cinemas. Prices are specific to the time of the session and vary between cinemas, so please check pricing prior to purchase. A payment processing fee of 3.75% of the total transaction value is charged in addition to the ticket cost.
3.32 Discounted pricing is only available on standard 2D sessions. Standard cinema pricing will apply where the ticket price is higher than a standard admission ticket including group bookings, advanced screenings, special events and experiences, film festivals, Met Opera, NT or premium content.
3.33 Tickets are specific to the chosen movie, cinema and session. They can not be used for any other session. They cannot be exchanged, extended or replaced. They will not be replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged.
