$1 a month deals are available from 29 October 2025 to 6 January 2026 unless withdrawn earlier, with eligible phones (see below) available for a limited time during the promotional period. Offers can be amended at any time without notice.

$1 a month deals

Buy an eligible phone described in the table below with the minimum eligible Pay Monthly/Endless business mobile plan and you will pay $1 a month for 36 months for the phone as long as you stay on the eligible Pay Monthly mobile plan.

Offer available on 36 months interest-free only. Min. $99 upfront deposit required.

iPhone 16e has a higher memory variant available. While this won't be $1 a month, the same total discount is available no matter the memory variant, on a 36-month interest-free term with the eligible Pay Monthly plan. The iPhone 16e total discount is $1,064, which means you will pay $6.55 per month for 36 months for the 256GB variant, rather than $1 a month for the 128GB variant which is included in the promotion.

You must stay on the eligible Pay Monthly/Endless business mobile plan that you initially signed up to (or higher) for the entire interest-free term. The balance of your phone cost must be repaid if you exit or transfer your plan before your 36-month interest-free term expires and the monthly discount will be lost if you move to an ineligible plan.

If you already have a phone on interest-free, you can still purchase a selected phone with the $1 a month offer on an eligible plan for 36 months, but you will lose any existing interest-free discount you may have. You will also be required to pay back any outstanding amount due on your interest-free payment with your next bill.

Frequently asked questions

How does the $1 a month deal offer work?

Buy an eligible phone on an eligible Pay Monthly or Business mobile plan interest-free for 36 months (with $99 deposit) and get the phone for only $1 a month.

How will this show up on my bill?

You will be charged the standard monthly phone cost, and then credited back an amount so you will have a net payment of $1 a month for the phone.

i.e. The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G phone cost is $799. The standard monthly cost over 36 months (minus $99 deposit) is $19.44 per month, so you will be credited $18.45 per month ($16.04+ GST). This leaves a net total of $1 a month for the phone, plus eligible Pay Monthly plan cost.

Can I buy a $1 a month deal phone if I already have a phone on interest-free?

Yes, you can still purchase a selected phone with the $1 a month offer on an eligible plan for 36 months, but you will lose any existing interest-free discount you may have. You will also be required to pay back any outstanding amount due on your interest-free payment with your next bill.

What happens if I change my Pay Monthly plan within the 36 months interest-free term?

You must stay on the eligible Pay Monthly plan that you initially signed up to (or higher) for the entire interest-free term – i.e. 36 months. The monthly discount will be lost for the remainder of the term if you move to an ineligible plan.

What happens If I cancel my Pay Monthly mobile plan within the 36-month interest-free term?

If you cancel your plan, you will be required to pay back the remaining balance of the phone cost in full and any remaining monthly phone credits will be lost.

Can I buy a higher memory variant of the phone in the offer?

Yes, you can buy a higher memory variant of the phone. While this won’t be $1 a month, the same total discount is available no matter the memory variant, on a 36-month interest-free term with the eligible Pay Monthly plan.

How does the $1 a month deal offer work with One Wallet?

You cannot use your One Wallet Phone Dollars towards a $1 a month deal.

How does the $1 a month deal offer work with trade-in?

You cannot get a $1 a month deal with trade-in.

How does the $1 a month deal offer work with One Upgrade?

If you’re buying a $1 a month deal, you can add One Upgrade as a monthly add-on.

If you currently have a One Upgrade add-on, you can get a $1 a month deal like any other interest-free offer, however the $99 deposit required for a $1 a month deal will be spread out over the 36-month interest-free term, making the total monthly repayment more than $1 per month. Redemption fees may also apply.

Prepay $1 double data deal terms

$1 Double Data is a promotional offer available to new and existing customers on a $17 or above Prepay Plus Plan ("eligible Plan").
To receive this offer, you must have enough balance to pay an additional $1 on top of your monthly Plan amount between 29 October 2025 and 20 January 2026.
You will need to purchase your $1 Double Data Add-On when your Plan renews each month.
$1 Double Data Add-On lasts 1 month from when you redeem the Add-On.
The amount of double data you receive is based on the amount of data on your active Plan at the time of redemption.
Any unused balance from the $1 Double Data Add-On will not rollover to your next Plan.
$1 Double Data Add-On does not count towards your DataUp allowance.
If you deactivate your account, you will lose your current $1 Double Data Add-On. If you change to an ineligible Plan, your $1 Double Data Add-On will continue until the 1-month expiry and will not be available for re-purchasing.
If you renew your current eligible Plan or change to another eligible Plan before the expiry of your current Plan, your $1 Double Data Add-On will remain until the 1-month expiry and then may be re-purchased.
If you port in your number from another provider, a 5GB porting bonus will automatically be added to your account on top of this offer.
If you are activating a $5 SIM, you will also receive a 5GB for 90 days bonus on top of this offer.
