This article explains how to set up the Deco Device BE48 - 5G which will be available from 14th May 2025

Before you begin

• Deco BE48 - 5G modems are plug and play compatible.
• You should install the Deco App and link your Deco Device to unlock more features.

Steps

1. Insert the Nano SIM card into the slot on the base of the modem
   Note: Some modems may come with a pre-installed SIM card

   • Ensure you are inserting the correct SIM Card
   • Place the modem on its back
   • The SIM card slot is just above the light
2. Plug the provided power adaptor into your Deco Device.
   

   

3. Wait for the LED on your modem to turn solid green. You are now connected to the internet.
   
   • This will take approximately 3 minutes

     Note: If the LED light is purple, this means the Deco unit is connecting to 5G.
4. Your Wifi username and password are located at the bottom of your modem. Or, on a Wifi sticker in the modem box. Use these details to connect your devices to your Wifi.
