VDSL | Is interleaving available?

Yes and it's not possible to turn interleaving off for VDSL. Instead, Dynamic Line Management will monitor the interleaving setting and increase or decrease the amount of interleaving required to make your connection stable. Interleaving is a technique for making broadband connection error correction more robust.

About touch tone and pulse dialling

In order for you to make a call, the central switch needs to know the number you want to reach. The switch is, in essence, a great big computer. Like any computer, it doesn't understand English, so you need to give it the number in a form it can understand. There are two common ways of doing this: tones and pulses.

About Talk 0 home phone plan

Using this calling plan, you can nominate your favourite mobile number on our network and call it as much as you like at no cost from your home phone. You can have up to five Talk 0 plans on your landline account. Talk 0 can be purchased in addition to one of our other Talk plans or alone with home phone.

Can I make calls starting with 059 or 0161 from my home phone?

You won't be able to use 059 or 0161 if you have voice calling over broadband.
