Business | Why do I have to give 30 days notice to cancel my account?
The obligation to give 30 days' notice in our agreements is mutual. It means that we can't turn your services off one day without telling you. If we do need to end our agreement you will have 30 days to locate another service provider and smoothly transition to their services. We realise that if we didn't give you any notice that would be inconvenient for your business.
Stop the TXTs about a bill
For mobile customers, you can easily change your bill settings in My One NZ.
What is unmetered data?
Unmetered data is data usage which does not incur any data charges or reduce your allocated data bundle.
What is a Credit Bar?
A Credit Bar is a redirection placed on your account when you either have account payments that are overdue or have reached your credit limit. All outgoing calls you make will be redirected to a message service until your payment is received. You are still able to call emergency services on 111. You also won't be able to send TXTs or use data (internet on your mobile).
"Relay Not Allowed" when sending email on a mobile
This is due to your ISP blocking external access to their SMTP (sending) email server. This means that unless your computer is connected to their network, they will not allow you to send using their outgoing (SMTP) server. ISPs implement this to reduce the risk of their servers being used for spam. They notify you by sending you that strange 'relay' email. Some ISPs support SMTP authentication which basically makes you log in (proving that you are who you say you are) before you send the email.
