This article explains why your video call may fail or disconnect.

Why would your video call fail if you are in coverage?

This may be because of any of the following:

  • The person you are calling does not have a 3G Video Calling capable mobile
  • The person you are calling is not within 3G coverage
  • The person you are calling has their mobile switched off
  • The person you have called is already on a Video Call

If both you and the other party are in 3G coverage, you may have a Video Calling bar on your account. Please call customer services on 777 for assistance.

What happens if I move out of 3G or 4G coverage during a video call?

Your call will disconnect, it will not transfer to a voice call.
