Do I need to use the filters on the Easy Office service line?

Yes, if you want to use the line for fax or EFTPOS.

Can I run more than one phone from each Easy Office line?

Yes. This is dependent on the phone station and ideally it should have its own power source. Please note that you are not able to have DDIs

Can I have 0800 numbers with Easy Office?

Yes, if the 0800 number is with us. To find out more about the TollFree 0800 service

Can I move the numbers of my Easy Office calling lines to a different location?

Yes, as long as the new location is in the same calling area. Just call 888 free from your mobile (on our network) or 0800 400 888 from a landline and we will arrange to move the number for you. However, you will have to organise moving your own phone and broadband equipment. You can move any equipment yourself, or you can contact a third party installer who will do it for you.

What types of calls are excluded from my Easy Office plan?

Activities such as auto dialling, continuous call diversion, telemarketing, call centres and calls to special numbers (0900, 018 etc.) are all excluded from your plan.

Can I use a fax on my Easy Office service line?

Yes, your service line can be used for faxing. Local and national fax calls are included in the monthly fee, but international rates apply for overseas fax calls.

Can I use EFTPOS on my Easy Office service line?

Yes, you can use your service line for EFTPOS transactions. All local and national EFTPOS calls are included in the Easy Office plan. Selected IP EFTPOS are also supported.

Fax, EFTPOS and alarm monitoring on the same Easy Office service line?

Yes, you can put multiple services on your service line - just use the two junction boxes provided with your Easy Office modem.

Can I have attached numbers e.g. pilot/steppers with my Easy Office plan?

No, this is not included in your plan.

Calling charges for Easy Office

Will I be charged for calls to local or national landlines?

No. All calls to local and national landlines from your calling and service lines are included in your monthly Easy Office fee.

Will I be charged for calls to mobiles numbers on your network in New Zealand?

No. All calls to mobiles on our network made in New Zealand from your calling lines are included in your monthly Easy Office fee. Calls to our mobiles from the service line are not included and will be charged at Business Tolls Plus rates .

Will I be charged for calls to mobile numbers on other New Zealand networks?

Yes, calls from your calling and service lines made to mobile numbers on another network in New Zealand are not included in the Easy Office plan. You can include calls to all other mobiles in New Zealand from your calling lines by purchasing the monthly Mobile Calling Add-On. If you decide not to buy the Add-On, calls to mobiles on other networks will be charged Business Tolls rates .

Will I be charged for calls to international phone numbers?

Yes, international calls are not included in your plan and will be charged at Business Tolls Plus rates

Does Easy Office work with a PBX?

No, Easy Office does not work with a PBX.

Are calls to 111 affected by my internet service?

To ensure quality of emergency calls we suggest you do not use broadband at the same time as making the call.

Can I have a Ponsonby number and a Glenfield number on the same Easy Office calling line?

Yes, but the calling lines must be in the same calling area (e.g. 09 Auckland, 04 Wellington).

What phones can I use?

  • Any analogue phone
  • Any DECT phone with a DECT dock
  • IP phones are not compatible

You will need to purchase your phones from a separate provider.

How much extra Easy Office data can I buy in a month?

You can buy one extra 30GB data bundle for your Easy Office plan as a regular monthly addition or as a one-off purchase. Find out more about the Easy Office Additional Data Add-On or call 888 free from your mobile or 0800 400 888 from a landline any time and we will set this up for you.

What happens if I go over my data cap?

Charges apply if you go over your data bundle limit. This will enable you to get the maximum available speeds.

How can I check my data usage?

Log into My One NZ to check your usage at any time. We will also send you a notification email when you are nearing your data cap.

What if my broadband goes down?

Only your service line will work. To ensure you don't miss any calls, the calling lines can be diverted to the service line or a mobile. 0800 400 888.
