This article provides steps to help troubleshoot issues you are experiencing with your home phone on Wireless Broadband.

Before you begin

Check that your internet is connected.

Steps

  1. Check our Outages page to see if that's affecting your connection
  2. Check that you've paid your bill

    For your services to keep running smoothly, ensure your account payments are up to date

  3. Check you are in coverage

    You will need to be in an area which has the appropriate coverage, check that you are in coverage

  4. Check that the power on your modem is on, If not, turn it on

  5. Check the lights on your modem to see if its connected to the network

  6. Unplug everything (except the power) from your modem and call it from another phone.If the phone rings, ensure that your home phone is plugged directly into your modem and try again.

    Otherwise try plugging in a different home phone and see if that works.
