Prepay | Check if an Add-On is active

Discover the different ways you can check the status of your Prepay Add-On.

Before you begin

If your Add-On is on hold, then it is not available to use. That means any calls or TXTs that might have been covered by your Add-On, may now be charged and deducted from your Prepay balance.

  • We will attempt to notify you via TXT:

    • if your Add-On fails to renew and is placed on hold.
    • when your Add-On is reactivated from being on hold.
    • when you cancel your Add-On while it is on hold, or
    • when your Add-On expires from being on hold.  

      However, we cannot guarantee that we will notify you.

  • If your Add-On is on hold and you wish to reactivate it, then simply Top Up with sufficient funds to cover the cost.
  • You cannot choose to put your Plan or Add-Ons on hold yourself.

Steps

Follow the steps below too see how you can check if your Prepay add-on is active.

My One NZ Web

  1. Sign in to My One NZ selecting the My One NZ tab.

  2. Hover your cursor over Products & Services, select Plan & Add-Ons

  3. Scroll down to view the status of your Add-Ons under My Add-Ons.

  4. If your Plan and/or Add-On is on hold, your entitlements will be greyed out and you should see a On Hold notification next to your plan or Add-Ons as shown in the image below.

TXT

FreeTXT MYADDONS to 756.  

You will receive one TXT for each active Add-On you have and one TXT with all your on hold Add-Ons.

How long does an expired Prepay Add-On stay on hold for?

Prepay Add-Ons that have expired will remain on hold for up to 14 days.
If you Top Up within 14 days, your Add-On will be reactivated automatically and deducted from your Prepay balance - provided your Top Up is sufficient to cover any outstanding IOUs as well as the Add-Ons you have.

To check the exact date, sign in to My One NZ. Or you can freeTXT 'MYADDONS' to 756.
You will receive one TXT message for each active Add-On you have and one TXT with all your on hold Add-Ons.

If your Add-On isn't reactivated within 14 days, it will be removed from your plan, and you'll need to buy it again.
