Mobile | Find a SIM card number

This article explains how you can find the SIM card number through your device

Before you Begin

Your SIM card number (also called ICCID) is the long number shown on your SIM card's packaging for a physical SIM.

It is also printed on the SIM card but if you used the smaller-sized SIM, then this may not be shown, so it's handy to tuck the packaging away somewhere or make a note of your number.

Your SIM card number is really useful when you want to swap your number and account onto a new SIM card.

For eSIM you will need to use the following instructions.

Steps

iOS - iPhone

If you have an iPhone you can look it up on the phone if you don't have the packaging or want to pull out the SIM card.
  1. Tap Settings
  2. Scroll down and tap General
  3. Tap About
  4. Scroll down to ICCID

The ICCID is the SIM Card number + 2 digits at the front + 1 digit at the end

    • Your SIM Card number is the number between these extra digits
    • Example 126401xxxxxxxxxxxx34

Other Devices

You'll need to check your phone's user guide to see if it stores this information.

Please note: Most operating systems do not have this function - you may need to look at your SIM card itself.

Packaging or SIM Card

Your physical SIM card number is shown on the pack it came in and on the actual SIM card itself, opposite side to the chip.
