This article details how you can change the ring time of your mobile handset

Before you begin

You can extend the ring time of your Pay Monthly mobile, Home Phone Wireless and Wireless Broadband handsets using the following steps.

Default ring time: 20 seconds.
Maximum ring time: 30 seconds.

Please note:

• Prepay customers cannot change the ring time setting.
• Removing voicemail does not extend the ring time further.

Steps

1. On your handset, dial * * 61 * 021700700 * 11 * [time in seconds] # 
   Example: To set your ring time to 30 seconds: ** 61 * 021700700 * 11* 30 #
2. Press SEND or DIAL.
