Making your number unlisted has no effect on caller line identification (CLI), which is what telephone companies call Caller Display amongst themselves.

We can block CLI on your number if you like, there is no charge for this service.

If you want us to permanently block CLI on your number, please contact us by phone to request it. Please include your account number, name and the line on which you want CLI blocked. Be aware that your number may still be displayed to us, certain Government Agencies and emergency services.

If you are unsure whether or not your number is blocked, the easiest thing to do is call a phone with caller display and see if the number comes up. Your or a friend's cellphone is ideal. If you do not answer the call you won't be charged.
