Information on why broadband connections may be restricted

Why has my internet/broadband been restricted?

  • If your account is overdue, your broadband access may be restricted so you won't be able to connect to the internet to go online or get your emails.
  • If your account is 15 days overdue you'll be able to remove the internet restriction yourself by promising to pay any overdue amount within the next 7 days
    or straight away online (just login to My One NZ and click credit card payments).

I've made a payment and the restriction lifted, but I still can't get online?

It can take a while to get back online after your account has been restricted - up to 1 business day. To check, you can turn off your modem completely (i.e. unplug the power cord) and then turn it back on.
