If you have ADSL, VDSL, cable, HFC or fibre broadband, please check with your alarm provider to see if your alarm is compatible with your broadband.
Fibre broadband
This can be used with monitored alarms, but please be aware that fibre will not work during a power outage and that some alarm models aren't compatible with fibre, please check with your supplier or manufacturer. You may need to upgrade to an alarm model that will work with fibre broadband, your alarm company can advise you on this.
Wireless Broadband
Sorry, but monitored alarms are not compatible with Wireless Broadband services.
If you're not comfortable for monitoring to lapse during a power outage, we recommend installing a wireless alarm monitoring module , or if required, paying for a separate copper phone line for the monitored alarm.
