Follow these helpful steps to access the modem management page for the older modems shown here.
The I.P. address normally used for these modem/routers is 192.168.1.1 while the Technicolour uses 192.168.0.1
Use your normal browser to enter the I.P. address and log in.

Before you start
What you'll need:
- A computer that is connected to the modem either through WiFi or an Ethernet cable.
- The username and password for your modem (found on the bottom of most of our modems).
- To ensure your modem is plugged in and powered on.
If you're using a modem that we did not supply, or if your modem isn't mentioned here, then you'll need to refer to your modem's user guide for assistance in accessing the Admin interface.
Steps
- Open a web browser and go to 192.168.1.1 (for the Technicolor modem, go to 192.168.0.1).

Enter your Username and Password.
Please note: For the HG659, the admin username and password varies based your firmware version.
- On your keyboard, press Enter.
The Admin interface now appears.Using this interface, you can use it to change a password, configure your network settings, setup port forwarding, and troubleshoot any network issues.
Support
If you cannot open the web management page, please check the following:
- The power is on.
- Either your computer's WiFi is on or it is directly connected to the modem with an Ethernet cable.
- Your browser is set to automatically get an IP address and DNS server address.
