Deco X58 | Insert a new SIM card in the modem

This page explains how to remove and insert a SIM card into a Deco X58 modem.

Before you begin

These steps are also compatible with both Wireless Broadband and Rural Broadband

Steps

  1. Confirm you are inserting the correct SIM Card
  2. Place the modem on its back
    The SIM card slot is just above the light
  3. Press the SIM card currently in the modem in and release it

    The SIM card will pop out slightly
  4. Remove the SIM card
    • If you are struggling to grab it, you could try to use tweezers
  5. Following the cut off corner diagram on the modem, insert the new SIM card into the SIM card slot
