This article contains steps to update your On Account BestMate number.
Before you begin
You can change your On Account BestMate number online through My One NZ or by TXT message.
There is a $3 charge to change your BestMate number.
Steps
My One NZ Web
- Go to My One NZ
and sign in to My One NZ.
- Select Product & services and click Plan & Add-Ons
- Click Edit Best Mates
The Manage your BestMates screen opens - In the Number field, enter the new BestMate's number then click Save
A confirmation screen opens. - Check that the new number is correct before clicking Confirm Add-On
A message will appear as follows confirming the number change

Free TXT CHG BESTMATE and your current BestMate number and your new BestMate number to 756
