Welcome to conservation like never before

We’re proud to partner with the Department of Conservation
Why Choose Us Department of Conservation

Connecting for nature

One NZ is a new National Conservation Partner for the Department of Conservation (DOC), bringing innovation and industry-leading technology to the frontline of conservation.

Together, the partnership will support and protect nature through a hybrid model of tech innovation and expanding public engagement through advocacy.

Coverage, where DOC’s never had it

One NZ Satellite, powered by Starlink, brings coverage to the 40% of New Zealand with no traditional signal, much of it on Public Conservation Land.

With One NZ, DOC staff will be able to access help, share information, receive weather updates and arrange supplies anywhere they can see the sky.

Tech that works for nature

From satellite-connected field tools to smart sensors, we’re piloting technology will keep rangers safer, saves time, and deliver better conservation outcomes.

Turning good ideas into lasting change

When DOC trials new tech with us and decides to keep it long-term, we put more investment back into conservation. It’s a cycle that keeps creating smarter tools — and more wins for nature.
