This message will be caused by either a locked/defective phone, or a faulty SIM card.
This may also show as "not registered on network".
Possible fixes
- Restart mobile and check your SIM
Turn your mobile off, remove the battery (if it's removable) and check that your SIM is securely in place.
Turn your mobile on again.
- Try your SIM in another working phone
If the SIM doesn't work in another phone then the issue is the SIM card. Please visit our nearest retail store to get a replacement. - Try another SIM card in your phone
If you or a family member have another mobile, try their SIM inside your handset.
