Unregistered SIM or Not Registered on Network message

This message will be caused by either a locked/defective phone, or a faulty SIM card.

This may also show as "not registered on network".

Possible fixes

  1. Restart mobile and check your SIM
Turn your mobile off, remove the battery (if it's removable) and check that your SIM is securely in place.
    Turn your mobile on again.
  2. Try your SIM in another working phone
If the SIM doesn't work in another phone then the issue is the SIM card. Please visit our nearest retail store  to get a replacement.
  3. Try another SIM card in your phone
If you or a family member have another mobile, try their SIM inside your handset.
