My modem can detect a connection but is unable to establish one

If you encounter this issue, try restarting your wireless modem. You can also check the following:

  • Your wireless modem cables are in a working condition
  • Your Wi-Fi power cable is plugged in to the power socket and is turned on
  • The modem displays lights (means it's turned on)
  • Ensure your broadband connection is still active (make sure you're bill is not overdue)
