How to turn off your Modem Wi-Fi | HG659

If you have SuperWifi connected to your broadband modem, we recommend you turn off the Wi-Fi on your broadband modem.

If both, the modem Wi-Fi and Deco Wi-Fi, are turned on and share the same name, it may cause problems or prevent the Super Wi-Fi setup from completing successfully. 

  1. On your HG659 modem, press and hold the WLAN (or WiFi) button on the side for 5 seconds

  2. Release the button
  3. The WLAN (or WiFi) light turns off after 10 seconds
