This page explains how you can unlock the Huawei Y6 2018.

Before you start

Important Entering an incorrect code multiple times may lock your phone completely. If, after three attempts, your phone doesn't unlock please call us on 0800 837 867 (Mon-Fri, 8AM-6PM).

• We cannot guarantee that an unlocked phone will be compatible with another network.
• We can only help with unlocking our mobile devices purchased from one of our authorised retailers that hasn't been tampered with, is not 'jail broken' or flashed.
• Do not try to guess or make up your unlock code
• The unlock code we sent you is an alpha numeric code. Please follow the steps carefully. They are different for each phone.
• You will not need Wi-Fi to complete the unlock.

Steps

1. Switch the phone off
2. Insert a non-One NZ SIM
3. Power on the phone
4. Enter your SIM or PIN lock code (if they have been set on the phone).
   Please note: This is different to the unlock code
   The Phone will display SIM network unlock PIN and ask for an unlock pin 
5. Enter the SIM unlock code you received from One NZ.
   The phone is now unlocked.

Support

If the SIM network unlock PIN is entered incorrectly more than 10 times, the phone will display unlock SIM BLOCK and ask for an unblock pin.

• Please contact us on 777 to receive this unblock pin
• After the unblock pin is entered correctly the phone will still be locked but now the SIM network unlock PIN message appears again
