Keeping your mobile software up to date is advisable to ensure you're getting the best possible performance from your device. So if you're unsure of whether you have the latest version, here's how to check:

Find your Android version

1. Open your App drawer - all the apps installed on your device
2. Select Settings
3. Scroll down and find About phone, usually at the bottom of the screen
4. Look for Android version and note which you have.

N.B. Other things to check for Android devices are

• Device name
• Manufacturer

1. From your main screen, select Settings
2. Scroll down the screen and it will be listed next to Version
