You can redirect calls from your business landline to another number of your choice. It could be another landline, your voice message box, a pager service or an alternative local access network provider. We'll normally be able to set up the link within 24 hours. Please note that this service may not be available in some areas due to network constraints or incompatibility with other products or services. There is a monthly cost for Call Diversion .
Please call us on 888 from a One NZ mobile or 0800 400 888 from any landline.
You can programme in up to nine telephone numbers where you regularly divert calls.
Set up Call Diversion for your business
- Pick up the phone handset
- Dial 181
- Dial a slot number between 161-169 (you can use just 1 or up to 9 numbers)
- Dial the phone number for that allocated slot
- Press the # key
If the code is dialled correctly, you will hear a long/short/long tone to signal this.
If the code has not worked you will hear a continuous tone, like a disconnect tone - please try again.
Activate Call Diversion
- Pick up the phone handset
- Wait for a dial tone and dial appropriate code i.e. 161 (see above)
- If the code is dialled correctly, you will hear a long/short/long tone to signal this.
When call diversion is active, your dial tone will become long short long to let you know it is active. You can still make calls as usual.
If the code has not worked you will hear a continuous tone, like a disconnect tone - please try again.
Deactivate Call Diversion
- Pick up the phone handset
- Wait for a dial tone and dial 160
- The dial tone will return to normal and Call Diversion is deactivated.
