What is a "Parallel Import" mobile?

A mobile that has been obtained by a retailer, wholesaler or other party from an authorised source overseas, rather than from a local NZ supplier, licensees or agent of that product.

I have an imported handset, how can I use your services?

Take your handset into any of our retail stores . They'll do their best to upgrade your handset's software, but can't guarantee you'll get access to all our services.

With a parallel imported/bought outside NZ mobile there is a risk you may not have access to all our services. That's why it's often a better idea to purchase a mobile from on of our retail stores. Only handsets approved by us are fully tested and compatible with the full suite of our services.
