Your bill | One Business and SIP

If you have One Business and/or SIP, you will get a bill each month. Your first bill will be different to an average month as we bill in advance for access and arrears for calls or usage.

You will receive a monthly bill. If there was usage in the previous month that was outside a plan allowance, the charges will be added to your bill.

Your first bill

We want to make your first steps with us easy. Here's how your first bill is calculated.

Your first bill is different to a regular month, this is because we charge for your monthly plan in advance and your usage in arrears. So, it may include a part-month charge for the first month, and a full-month charge for the next month.

Even if you've only been a customer for a few days, you may get a bill. If you also have mobile plans on our network, you may notice that the billing dates are different to your One Business or SIP services. This is because your billing cycle for mobile began on the date you signed up, whereas One Business and SIP are aligned to a calendar month.

Amount due

What is the Total Amount Due on your bill?

The Total Amount Due is the sum of all the charges you need to pay now and includes GST.

What is an Overdue Amount on your bill?

This means that we have not yet received full payment for one or more previous bills. This amount is due immediately. If you have made a payment in the last few days, this may not yet have been applied to your account. Some payment methods may take a few days to process.

How do I view my One NZ account number?

You can find your account number on the top right side of your bill.

GST

GST exempt charges will be displayed in the body of the bill. They will not appear in the summary of charges on the front (where GST will be included, even for GST exempt charges).

Other One NZ services

If you have other One NZ services, you will continue to receive separate bills for those services. One Business and SIP charges can now appear on the same bill as your One NZ Mobile charges. One Business bills will be an additional invoice with different account payable details .

Credits and adjustments

These may show if you have recently changed or cancelled any plan.

Promotion or discount not applied to my bill

Any discounts added part way through your current billing month may not appear on the current month's bill, however, it should appear on the next month's bill. If you still haven't received your discount, call us and we'll sort it for you.
