Set up voicemail and PIN

From your phone:

1. Dial 09 947 6000 or press *61 to access the voicemail menu
2. Enter the temporary 4 digit PIN number from your service activation email
3. Press #
4. When prompted enter a new 4 digit PIN number
5. Press #
6. Follow the voice prompts to set up your mailbox

From another phone:

1. Dial 09 947 6000 to access the main menu
2. Enter your area code (with or without the 0) and your telephone number, e.g. 09123 4567
3. Enter the temporary 4 digit PIN number
4. Press #
5. When prompted enter a new 4 digit PIN number
6. Press #
7. Follow the voice prompts to set up your mailbox

Record your voicemail greeting

From your phone:

1. Dial 09 947 6000 or *62 to access the main menu
2. Enter your 4 digit PIN number
3. Press #
4. Press 1 for Voice Messaging 
5. Press 2 for Busy Greeting 
6. Press 3 for No Answer Greeting
7. Follow the voice prompts
8. Change number of voicemail rings
9. Change the number of rings before voicemail activates.
10. Dial *61 
11. When prompted, set the number of rings before the phone diverts to voicemail

Listen to voicemail messages

From your phone:

1. Dial 09 947 6000 or press *61 to access the voicemail menu
2. Enter your PIN number
3. Press #
4. Press 1 to listen to your messages

From another phone
If you are calling from outside the local calling area or from a mobile phone, applicable call charges apply

1. Dial 09 947 6000 or 0064 9 947 6000
   
   (International calling charges apply, when calling from outside New Zealand)
2. Enter your area code (with or without the 0) and your telephone number
   
   e.g. 09123 4567
3. Enter your 4 digit PIN number
4. Press #
5. Press 1 for Voice Messaging Menu
6. Press 1 to listen to your messages
