Simultaneous Call Diversion allows you to have multiple Call Diversion features active at the same time. For example: you could have Call Diversion Busy & Call Diversion Answer activated. You will need to have Simultaneous Call Diversion provisioned on the line to use this service - please call us on 888 to activate.
The service can be programmed to divert to one number. You will need to include the area code, if the new number is outside of the local calling area.
Divert calls from your business landline to another phone
- Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone.
- Dial the appropriate code
* 31 for Immediate i.e. all calls
* 34 for Busy i.e. the line is busy so call is diverted
* 37 for No Answer - Wait for the confirmation tone (long-short-long).
Your line will automatically test the new number to confirm it has been setup correctly, by calling the new number. When it is okay, you can hang up and calls will begin diverting to the new number. You can still make outgoing calls from your phone when call diversion is in use, but the dial tone is different (long-short-long). This reminds you that incoming calls are still being diverted.
