Find out how faxMail works, how to manage your mailbox and alerts, and how to retrieve or forward your faxes.
What is faxMail?
faxMail helps make sure you don’t miss a fax if your fax machine is busy, out of paper or unavailable.
Incoming faxes are held in your faxMail mailbox until they can be delivered to you. Set-up and monthly charges apply.
Your faxMail mailbox and PIN
Your faxMail mailbox number is based on your fax number, starting from the second digit of the area code.
For example, if your fax number is 09 345 6789, your mailbox number is 9 345 6789.
Your faxMail PIN protects your mailbox and is required to retrieve faxes or change your faxMail settings.
If the phone line you’re calling from has other features such as voicemail, press * after dialling 083211 to bypass those services.
