Mobile Broadband | Send or receive TXTs via your PC

TXTs or SMS (Short Message Service) enables you to send a brief message over the mobile network to another mobile phone or USB device. Our Mobile Broadband software for PC allows TXTs to be sent and received via the Pocket WiFi or Vodem, instead of your mobile phone or device.

By clicking the SMS icon on our Mobile Broadband software you can send TXTs directly from your computer using the USB device. Messages can be written (Create New SMS) by typing the text directly into the window. An SMS message is limited to 160 characters; longer text will be broken up and sent as multiple messages (subject to network support). The SMS functionality is used in the same way as an email, including being able to view received messages, create new messages, save messages in draft format and manage contacts for frequently used numbers.

What happens to SMS sent to me when I am not connected to the Mobile Broadband?

It works on exactly the same principle as your mobile phone or device. SMS messages will be stored by the network until your USB device is used in an area with network coverage. Some networks discard messages that cannot be delivered after several days.
