This page explains how to change the Wi-Fi name and password on the HG659 modem.

• Wi-Fi access requires a network name and password. To keep your Wi-Fi secure, regularly change your network name and password.

1. Log in to the Web Management Page, see above for details.
2. In the navigation tree, choose Home Network > WLAN Settings.
3. On the Basic Settings page, enable your 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WLAN
4. Click Save.
5. On the WLAN Encryption page, enter your desired network name (WLAN SSID) and password (Key)
6. Click Save.
