DN8245 | Setup Parental Controls

This article contains steps to setup controls that parents can use on the DN8245.

Before you begin

Parental Controls are available in Advanced menu, under Security / Parental Control

Steps

  1. Open a web browser and go to 192.168.1.1

    The Welcome screen appears

  2. Complete the following fields:

    • Username - You can find this on the bottom of your modem
    • Password - You can find this on the bottom of your modem

  3. Click Log In

  4. The Overview screen appears
  5. Log in with your username/password found on the underside label on modem
  6. Down the left, select the Advanced menu

  7. Select Security, then Parental Control
