This article contains steps to restore the configuration of your modem using a file on your computer
Steps
Open a web browser and go to 192.168.1.1
The Welcome screen appears
- Complete the following fields:
- Username - You can find this on the bottom of your modem
- Password - You can find this on the bottom of your modem
Click Log In
- The Overview screen appears
- Select Advanced
- Select Maintenance
Select Configuration Maintenance
You can save, download up uploaded the configuration file from here
In addition, the modem auto-saves the configuration daily. From the main overview menu, click on the image of the modem and the menu will appear with the option to Restore Config. Several individual days are available to revert to if needed
