This article contains steps on how to manage Caller ID on copper phone lines for Cable/HFC connections.

This calling feature lets you see who's calling before you answer the call, and keep track of who has called. 

Before you begin

There is a monthly fee for Caller ID .

To add Caller ID, please call us on 0508 888 800.

To use Caller ID, you need a phone with display capabilities

In some situations, Caller ID can't show a caller's number, for example unlisted and confidential numbers.

To get permanent blocking, please contact Customer Care on 0800 806 106.

Steps

If you're calling someone else, and don't want your number to display in their Caller ID, you can block your ID:

1. Press *32
2. Wait for two beeps and then the dial tone before dialling the number Blocking your ID on an outbound call is free and works on a per-call basis.
